KINHS SCHOLARSHIP POLICY
- One Merit Scholarship will be awarded to top position-holder students in the class on the basis of scoring in the merit list upon entrance into the program and then based on scoring in the final exam of Khyber Medical University (KMU) in each semester.
- The Merit Scholarship may be transferred to other students if the students receiving the scholarship fail to maintain the Top positions in the next KMU semester exam.
- Need Base Scholarship will be awarded to the neediest and deserving students who will be evaluated on the basis of evidence provided through a KINHS Scholarship Performa.
- KINHS Institute will get the scholarship forms examined in the following mode and manner.
- All students will be categorized either as eligible for scholarships or ineligible for scholarships. No further categorization will be made.
- All students will be required to submit the following documents along with their applications.
- Domicile of district Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
- In case the father/guardian of students is salaried person, an employer’s certificate regarding the guardian/father’s annual take home salary.
- In case the father/guardian of student is non-salaried person, the electricity bill of the principal residence of the father/guardian.
- The award of Scholarship will be decided by KINHS Scholarship Committee.
- The award of need basis Scholarship will be subject to achieving minimum passing percentage in all subjects after initial award. In case, the students fail to maintain passing percentage in the subsequent KMU semester examination after getting the initial need ba scholarship (CGPA below 2.50), the scholarship will be withdrawn for that semester.
- Scholarship withdrawn, will not be awarded to students other than those declared as deserving upon entrance into the program by the KINHS Scholarship Committee.
- The Scholarship withdrawn, will be re-awarded to the same students after achieving the required GPA again in the next semester.
